Window shopping is the best way to unearth that one thing you thought you'd never find, be it a generous gift or something that costs just a few euros. For serial shoppers, temptation is just so hard to resist, so why hesitate? What can beat the spontaneous enjoyment of treating yourself or a loved one without even a second thought? In Monaco, you need neither a compass nor a map. The streets are simply lined with top brands so all you have to do is walk around. Hop into an elevator or on to a bus or electric bicycle to move easily from one neighbourhood to another. As you wander down a boulevard or through a mall, you are sure to run into your favourite brand or the one you’ve always been looking for. Warning: shopping can make you simply ecstatic.

"Saint-Charles is a very lively neighbourhood along the Boulevard des Moulins, with plenty of well-known brands. A lot of attention goes into decorating the shops and welcoming the international clientele here. Sundays are not like other days. People go shopping at different times, often at around 4.30 pm after they've been to the beach, and sometimes until 7.30 pm. We always stay open as long as we have customers in the shop."
