The Exotic Garden celebrates its 75th Anniversary
A magnificent open-air setting for a wide variety of “succulent” plants, of which cacti are the best-known. This botanical garden contains acclimatised plants from arid regions around the world: the south-west USA, Mexico and Central and Southern America for the cacti and agaves, and South Africa, East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula for the other succulent plants. The Jardin Exotique is built against a cliff face overlooking the Bay of Monaco and the entire French Riviera. Entrance includes access to the Anthropology Museum and to the Observatory Cave, with its impressive concretions.
